Hutt City Council is split into 6 wards or regions – people within these areas cast one vote for their favourite candidate. The two people with the most votes represent that community at council. So if you’re good at maths that leaves 12 councillors around the council table, with one elected mayor. One of the 12 candidates is also chosen by the mayor to be his deputy mayor.
The harbour ward covers Korokoro, Petone, Moera, South Waiwhetu, Gracefield, Seaview, and Eastbourne.

Don’t think there should be any buildings on the Petone Rec. The green/black checkered shirt? Had it made when I was in Vietnam last year. LOVE it!
