Continue readingLast night was an awesome event as I attended the Young Enterprise YES Wellington Regional Finals. The energy in the room was electric, filled with young minds eager to change the world, one innovation at a time. As a former YES student from 2005, this event felt like a homecoming of sorts, a full-circle moment that reminded me why I entered the realm of public service & started my own businesses.
We know the roadworks in Stokes Valley are causing disruption and congestion, and we understand how tough it is for everyone trying to get around. The works are essential for stabilising the hillside and reducing future slips, but we also recognise the challenges they pose to daily commuting. The project is expected to last at least nine months, with a substantial investment of $25 million to secure the area and ensure a safer future for all.
