Greater Wellington Regional Council has reviewed the Hutt Valley bus services and made some changes to make sure they meet people’s needs as much as possible, and that they’re being run as efficiently as possible. They found that some services are not able to meet high levels of demand, while others are not being used much at all.

As a result GWRC made some changes to meet demand, make travel times more reliable and improve connections between bus and train services. This is a part of their Public Transport Plan to make rail, bus and ferry services more efficient and more reliable.
